Hi guys, nice to post here ;)

My contact, an old VTT700 expires 26th Dec 2007. 3 had not been in touch to tell me about any upgrade options, I have had to call them, apparently if I had not called them they would have continuted to take £35 a month from my account even though VTT700 is obselete now.

Anyway, I was interested in the Mix and match deals with an N95, I was told in the 3 shop I can move to one of these deals no problem. I called 3 cust services to see what deals I could get out of them and they informed me they do not give mix and match for existing customers, I have been told this on three separate occasions over the phone from 3 reps, is this true?

The best deal I was offered over the phone was an N95 for £50 and £25 a month for 300 mins and 350 texts, some downloads etc. This deal works out more expensive than the Mix and Match 500 (£500 over 18 months against £486). I know I was offered a few more texts, but I thought 3 would try to retain existing customers?

can anyone help me and suggest anything? thanks a lot. p.s. can you haggle in a 3 store for a better deal?

pps I just read that the Nokia n95 8gb is out january on three, will this mean the current £9 monthly cost of the n95 will reduce because of the new edition? I would be reluctant to get the old n95 if there is a new one in Jan.

They don't offer it to existing customers who aren't upgrading.

But you should be able to get it if you are.

With regards to the N95 8GB, I was told by one of the staff in my local 3 store that it's due out on 3 in February.

Have tried to upgrade DirectText 1400 to an N95 3 times now, and the best they would do it for was £250! I told them where to go, and I've cancelled.
