What it says on the tin really.
Do you like it?
Do you hate it?
Are you fed up with the network changing it 3 times in 3 months?
I sure am

I work for Retentions in the call centre and the way the top boss's treat us with the commission scheme changing every month is unfair. They don't deserve good staff the way they are acting. Everyone is cheesed off at the company on my shift. They were bigging up a bonus about 2 years ago which would be upto 50% of our salary and last month we had an email to say we wouldn't be having anything. They couldn't even tell us to our face it they sent a poxy e mail.

I've never been a big fan of unions however i think the staff at T-Mobile could do with one. Im not a trouble maker I would just prefer to get on with my work however Im going to give a vote of no confidence to the directors at T-mobile. I could say loads of things what they have done and any normal person would say the directors are out of order!!!!!!!

The 50% bonus thing was the same for the whole company, it sucked. I can tell you in Networks the moral is not much better, infact i'd label it as just as bad.

yeah, in the 3 and half years ive worked for tmob, i think the passed few months have been the worst in terms of moral and just where the company is headed. We are going to be sharing networks with 3 this year and reatining customers on the point that we have a better network no longer realy applies for 3g. our prices are by no means competitive. im going to work and just getting on with it at the mo. im sure mangament can come up with something soon

Why do you think T-Mobile have a better 3G network than 3?

I was just having a nosey at what the T-Mobile staff seem to be like, I work for O2 myself and I just wnated to see how they treated you. By the looks not very well! And that has made me realise how much we are looked afetr at O2. It ahs to be said that i've never worked at a nicer place. We all recieved bonuses this year based on bhow many hours you worked bonus was usually £1500 for Ft and £500-£100 for PT. There are always competitions and incentives esp for Retention. one person won a new Mini cooper, a holiday with Sony Ericsson and £100 Argos vouchers. Something that everyone has the chance to take part in is the sales incentive. You get points for everything you sell to customers. One PT on my team has earned enough points for £40 in vouchers for High street in one month. It might not seem much but theres laods of other things, and I must say I dont think I will be looking for another job for a long long time!
I feel really bad for people who dont get treated well at T-Mobile, if your looking for a union have you not tried CWU? thats the one we have at O2 and they charge £7 a motnh and are very good! They secured a really good pay rise for us last month.

things have changed a lot at t-mobile now, the pressure is on to sell web 'n' walk, insurance with everything, the footfall counters are a pain in the .........
the manager's are now 'performance managing' the staff on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
if you dont perform, you go down the disciplinary route..........then you're fired.
it's all about figures.....there is a lot of pressure to sell, sell, sell.......

yeah i went into the tmobile store to check out the environment since i had the interview in anohter store, and the store i had the interview at seemed like a much friendlier place, i went into the store i meant to be workng at on friday evening and they were miserable, i asked to speak to a manager cos i wanted to go through a few details and she went to see if they were free but they werent which is fair enough but if anything my current place wouldnt have turned me away they woulda said if u wait a few minutes theyll be out. the 2 members of staff i spoke to werent helpful and one f them was very rude ot be honest, butting in sayingi need to speak to recruitment abou tthings not the store!!! im like wtf!! another dude was stood around like throwing himself on the counter looking bored... im gonna be turning down the offer! regards to the push on insurance etc its happening at my current wrkplace i think its just pushing for figures but yes it is stresfull but i guess we gota learn to be ruthless and turn into phones 4 u!

I think the whole mobile industry is going the same way, there is so much competition and it's a dog eat dog world out there, but i do feel companies are making so much profit and forget who is helping them achieve that profit, yeah you guys in the frontline, shame really.
