Would you consider the Nokia N82 the successor to the N95? It seems the same specifications-wise but with an added Xenon flash to the 5.0 MP camera.
Nope!!! the jump from the N80 to the N95 was huge. The N82 is too similar to the N95 me thinks... i want to see what is really next :)

To me it's a downgrade...
The size is about the same as the n95 8GB / n95 because it's much taller. The buttons look awful. I've heard it still has the audio hiss problem unlike the n95 8GB.
The screen is much smaller so web browsing is less enjoyable even though it has the same resolution. You may be squinting with a lot of text depending on your eyesight. On the n95 8GB you can zoom out to 75% and text is still legible. You fit much more on screen this way.
If you want to take a lot of night photos then n82 otherwise the n95 8GB.

At 1st I thought damn, but I would prefere an n95 anyway, I am not a fan of smaller phones, if I have a choice I prefere larger phones bigger screen and buttons.
It seems almost identical, but seems smaller even though it might not be?
I cant wait to see whats the next n9x to be put on the market, they are doing it like that arnt they? 1st digit being the classes of the nseries?

Ye the link doesn't work... i've done a bit of google searching, but there is no solid information concerning new N series phones. they all look made up in photoshop and not very nokia... oh well, i won't be upgrading for a while i guess...
