my 18 month contract runs out in january i am waiting on the n95 8gb comming out on 3 can anybody tell me what happens if i do not renew my contract before it runs out what happens after the day it runs out?

your contract will continue month by month until you give 30 days notice or upgrade.

no problems. I am getting my hands on a sim free N95 8GB tomorrow to test so will use my 3 USIM in it to test :)
