My ageing Orange SPV C500 is starting to play up and I'm well overdue for an upgrade so I thought I'd take the plunge. My requirements are pretty simple - I need Windows Mobile so I can easily sync the phone with Outlook using ActiveSync on my work laptop (I'm not allowed to install any other sync'ing software), and I need Line 2 support. The latter seems to have confused the local Orange shop as they couldn't tell me which WM handsets support Line 2 so I decided to email Orange instead. A very helpful chap called me and said that if I needed Line 2 support then it boiled down to just THREE handsets with Orange... The Sony Ericsson P990i and M600i or the Nokia N73.
I later went and checked the web and it looks like neither of the suggested Sony Ericsson phones are 'current' offerings, the Nokia N73 has a reputation for being problematic, plus none of them are Windows Mobile.
Am I asking the impossible - a modern Windows Mobile phone with Line 2 support from Orange?
