Here's a smart idea for an 8 Mpixel camera, it's called a lens cover

It's a 6mpx, not an 8. It's tentatively titled the N96 and at least 2 UK netoworks have played with working protos and accepted into a provisional launch schedule.

cos i know a lot of things and sometimes things just slip out my mouth! i know of 2 more Nseries but whether they hit the UK market is another matter.

erm, no, the PATENT says 8MP. there may be a 6mp one hitting the shops soon, BUT the report is talking about a patent that has been submitted.
its been seen.. with the words 8mega pixel
That's fine chuckles, but the networks saw THAT phone, with a 6mpx sensor, not an 8.

ones a slider. luxury styling. probably an n8x. the other is an N7x. low end, a bit pointless in the range.

not a clue. someone mentioned february to me but i'd say there's no chance of that.
