Got the maps loaded up and paid for some navigation time it works out routes etc ok but i cannot get any sound on navigation any ideas please....

do yourself a favour, get an external gps receiver and use tomtom! or wait for tomtom 7 which will use the internal receiver.

He already paid for the navigation....
You just need to download the voice files. With the latest version of MapLoader you can use that to download voice files in your chosen language to the memory card. Alternatively, you can do it in Maps by going to Options -> Settings -> General -> Voice guidance, and select your language; it'll then prompt you to select an access point to download the files.
