Hi guys

Just wandering if youo guys can help me out with something, ive just movevd house and cant find my cable that links my pc and fone.
i need to download map loader onto my fone again,
i was just wandering if i could dowload map loader straight from the nokia website straight into my fone without needing the link cable?

or does anyone else have a link where i can download straight to my fone?

You download Maploader on to your PC and use it to download maps to the phone or direct to the memory card. You can put the memory card in your PC if your PC has a card reader and you have a converter for the micro SD cards.

Otherwise the Maps application on the phone will download maps as it needs them, I don't think you can get the Maps application on the phone to download specific maps.

It's a standard usb to mini usb cable. Lots of other things use the same cable like card readers and digital cameras so you might find you have another one knocking around. Otherwise they're cheap and available on the high st or the intertnet (£5 - £10).

Buy a USB to mini-USB cable. They are a couple of quid on eBay. As mentioned this is a standard cable common to many devices.

I never use the supplied Nokia one anyway. I like the retractable type so I carry around with me and use my phone like a USB pen drive. You can also use a card reader so you can download maps directly to the memory card.
