more maps problems!

got maps running on previous 95 no probs!
got a new 95 and 6 gig card, so copied card to computer and then copied onto 6 gig.
installed into new phone and no maps.
so loaded map loader with united kingdom maps and reloaded. now have maps but when i do a search not found comes up.
if i plan route with recents adresses its ok, or point on map to point on map, it will plan route , but in search cannot find any addresses?

tried to reload but now map loader cannot find phone and error messages,
or on task bar of computer i get nokian95 connected in non compatible mode change it from ui.
anyone any ideas?

So your new N95 what firmware version is it, 20?

With new memory cards or major firmware updates i prefer installing everything from scratch as it causes too many problems, using the phone to phone transfer via bluetooth / IR u can transfer most settings or phone files bookmarks etc.

Have you tried removing your memory card & starting maps simply on the phone & testing it, not sure if all uk maps will fit but perhaps use wlan or your data package for the test.

Or clear everythign & test it, if your having problems maybe there are some conflicts with files from your old memory card, i find many conflicts with its applications when restoring things therefore i install everything new when changing firmware or memory card.
