This morning I was almost 2 hours late for work - thanks to the N95's alarms not working.
I've just tested them again, and they are not working!
This is SERIOUS. Has no one else noticed this?

Alarm works fine and dandy on my N95 (with v20 firmware) :D

Someone posted something similar in the allaboutsymbian forum. Can you be a little more specific? Did you turn your phone off after setting the alarm, with the expectation that it would turn on automatically when the alarm time approaches?

No no... my phone is always on. I've never had any problems with the alarms on the N95. But right now it seems I have a problem.
I've tried setting a new alarm, as well as resetting an existing one. But they didn't go off.

my alarm wouldnt turn off either, but it did that once. now its fine
Sounds daft, but are you setting it for AM or PM. I've noticed a few times that alarms set for the wrong one.
Also is it a repeat alarm?

Backup your phone, format it and see if the alarm works. If it does, restore you back up and see if the alarm still works.
If it don't work on an empty phone then there's a problem.

sounds daft but check the tone set for the clock alarm. mine was reset to "off"

Actually used the alarm yesterday, and it worked fine. (upgraded to V20 last week).

My alarm works fine on v20 as well.
Did you do a "clean" firmware upgrade?

Mine seems to be fine after the V20 upgrade, although I did have to reset the workday 'repeat' alarm function as a new alarm.

the DATE was set wrong!! It was 2nd Dec on the phone, so the phone thought it was still Sunday this morning which is why my work alarms did not go off...!!
oh well - at least I had a couple of hours extra kip on a Monday morn... ;)

very nice of u to come clean....I was put off from upgrading b'cos of the issue u mentioned,....i'll now upgrade to V20
