Has anyone else had this problem yet.
Mine has only started a few days ago.. for no reason at all it will turn itself off even when fully charged.
I want to know your views.
thanks.

Any errors at all? look at the Sim registration/insert sim card thread.

Kanulondon,
no there are no errors at all. The phone will simply turn itself off without any warning. I thought it could be the battery loose or something but as yet I havnt found anything to suggest that. I called up a agent near to me who repairs these for nokia and they said its common... which suprised me...
but the sim card error or reader is fine.
I am puzzled.

Vert strange. I would start with the battery. When you put it back on..I assume the battery still appears charged?

Broken.
I think my N95 used to restart itself every few days but stopped after one of the firmware upgrades but I've not heard of this one.

I tried the upgrade etc. but to no avail. I contacted one of nokia's repair centres who say they have recieved quite a few that are doing this. Must be a one batch thing. I cant say for sure obviously.
Anyway it is getting replaced on monday so fingers crossed. apart from this it is a great phone. I havnt used half the settings yet. but I look forward to using these apps soon..... thanks everyone for your views and replys.

My N95 occasionally 'turns itself off and on again' - not when I'm using it, but generally when it is left doing nothing.
I've noticed the white-screen with the 'Nokia' logo appears, then all of the icons reappear one-by-one and the various signals etc reappearing.
It's quite strange and a little annoying too though it hasn't caused me any problems, as it's always happened when I have not been using it.
Perhaps I should consider taking it into a service centre?
Any ideas?

I would look up your nearest service centre "personally" or contact your phone service provider if your on a contract.
You might be missing important calls or so on.... but if your happy with it doing this, well than its your choice.. but I need mine 24/7
anyway let us know please how you get on.
thank you.

I have exactly the same problem with mine, only happened since I upgraded the firmware to V12.0.013 on t-mobile.
Any ideas when v20 is out for t-mob?
