n95 8gb and apps

Hi all can can somebody help me ive installed loads of apps and themes through nokia suite.Im running the latest firmware v11 but most of the apps wont install file currupted i dont know why is there diffrence between n95 and the 8gb one in software.Ive just got this phone from the old n95 and nothing seems to work what i had on my n95 thanks in advance for any sort of help

most things i try install i get file corruption even though it states for a n95 8gb just will not install any ideas please

Can you give more details? Do you have the original sis/sisx installers?

I haven't come accross any issues and I've installed tons of apps.

hi thanks for getting back to me ive tried loads of apps some work some dont the ones that dont is windows live,google earth,tomtom,that one to see how much power your phones using i think you posted the link.All these i had working on my n95 but i cant get them to work with the 8gb one.I get file currupted most the time i use the nokia installer what am i doin diffrent i desperate to get tomtom working any help please id much so greatfull thankyou

The energy profiler installed on mine fine so did tomtom. I haven't installed google earth yet but I'm sure again It won't have any problems.

Perhaps you have a corrupt file system giving you errors?

You could try a reset. Backup what you need but not settings. Hard reset with *#7370# default code 12345. This will format the internal memory storage so you will have to reinstall everything back again.

What is the problem with tomtom?

When you upgraded to v11 did you back you and restore Settings? Restoring Settings from one firmware version to another can cause problems.

What you should do is back up all the contents of the memory card, format it, then do a full phone format (*#7370#) then reinstall all your apps. The phone should read the connection settings (MMS etc) from your SIM card.

hi i got most apps working again tomtom i had to put the date back to 2006 but working now thanku once again for all your help
