Hi all...

I've just updated my firmware and then got to wondering about the memory card contents. I backed up the phones contents before updating, including the memory card which includes all the media. I re-installed the contents after updating and was easily able to check if the photos, music etc were there by simply looking for them. I also had my downloaded maps on my memory card but you cant actually see these, if you check the memory card it just tells you how much space is left. I want to actually see the contents of the memory card to check if the maps are still there, can this be done??.

I can download the maps again no problem but wont need to if I can confirm that they are still there.

Cheers

Hello Tykeman, go to file manager > select > scroll right (on the square keys) and you should have access to your memory card.

Hope thiis helps.

The maps are not stored as individual files but as collections of small files and I think its not easy to tell which is which. I can't remember the exact folder but look for lots of subfolders called 1, 2 , 3 etc.

I'd download them again if I were you.

There are hidden files on both the mem card and the phone mem.
You need a file manager to see them. I use x-plore which alows you to unhide files. Can't remember if maps are hidden but get the file manager anyway so you can better organise.
