hi, does anyone know how a 12 month contract billing payments and dates actually work.
having signed up to a 12 month contract and disconnecting on the 12 month mark, i realise that i will be paying for 13 months rather than 12, because of the 1st months 'advance payment' which can mean anything.
Any information on this topic and the reason why im paying an full extra month for a bill that is sent within 2-3 days of connectivity.
Thank you

With a 12 month contract you can give your 30 days notice of disconnection 30 days before the end of your contract.

If you have over paid then the network should credit your account for the over payment. You should get one or two final bills. The first one will be for the line rental showing if you owe them money or if they owe you any. Then if you have made any out of allowance or chargeable calls you may well get another bill for these calls unless they these calls were included in the final line rental bill.
