O2 Ireland is trialling Spodtronic Radio, which offers 3G subscribers access to 200 radio stations.
The operator claims it’s the first trial of its kind in Europe. Spodtronic Radio allows users to scan and listen to FM, AM and internet radio stations on their mobile, as well as offering access to artist information, and the ability to create favourites and rate songs. Users also have access to 50,000 audio podcasts, and the BBC Live Concert Archive.
