after readin about HSDPA stopping calls, i thought id turn it off but i fancied putting it back on today and when i went to the place to do it, settings>connection>packet data the option for enabling/disabling HSDPA isnt there anymore, i dont understand it.

can anyone think whats happened, i was going to try returning to factory settings but worried i lose data, i also could update firmware but will this sort it. otherwise i might go into to shop tomorrow

When you are not in a 3G area you will loose the option to turn it on/off. When you move into one it will be there.
