Hi,
I've just signed up for a contract on 3 - with SE K770i. Haven't gone for a web add-in as yet for browsing outside the free stuff on Planet 3.
I'm having real problems with what seems to be intermittent 3G coverage. The way this manifests itself is that (whilst sitting in the same place in my house) if I go to Planet3 ocassionally I get Today on 3 displaying and can go from there to watch the free video stuff etc but more often I get the Services screen with the message 'You are now outside the video service area.' This can change within seconds. Also the 'planet earth' icon at the top comes and goes (wish I could say it corresponded with either having video or not but it doesn't). The bars for signal go up and down as well and occassionally go to flat, red which I think means no signal. This can all happen within the space of 5 mins without me moving an inch.
Have also had the phone on a train and in central London (where I was stationary and the signal and reception kept changing as at home - sometimes video and sometimes not) and this kept happening.
I assume my settings are correct as I can pick up the 3G video area on occassion. Could it be a phone problem? Is there anything I can do to help myself or do I need to go back to a 3 shop? I'm still within the first 14 days of my contract.
