Problems charging Nokia 6280 mobile phone

I have had my Nokia 6280 mobile phone since last Christmas but just recently i had to mess around with the wire to charge my phone but today it just completely went. When i plug in my charger, the phone just won't charge. Nothing happens. Did anybody else have this problem? I am just wondering does anybody know whether its the phone or the charger that is the problem. What should i do?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is the charging pin still in the handset ?

Could be the battery or the charger .... try another battery or charger.

Still in warranty if it was bought new then 3 should be able to service ot or Nokia may have to do it.

The wire on the nokia charger is very weak and breaks over time. If still under warranty ask 3 to replace it (but dont be surprised if you dont get a nokia one). Mine was out of warranty so I bought a cheap one which had a stronger cable and worked fine. In the family we had three 6280's and the nokia charger failed on all of them.

Thanks for the info guys. How do i check if the pin is still in the phone? I think it might be the charger alright. How much does a new charger cost or do i get one free of charge if i bring it back because it is still under warranty?
