orange early upgrades

I recently heard that orange offered early upgrades (although for a fee of course). If a customer were to take this early handset only upgrade, for example 3 month into their 18 month contract, would that simply start a new 18 month contract from their next billing date, or add another 18 months onto the anticipated contract end date'?

Despite me having called orange, I am still unclear about this

The new contract would start when you received your new upgraded phone. Upgrading after 3 months would have an upgrade fee of approx £300 plus VAT.

So when I early upgrade and pay £300 plus VAT, it starts a new 18 months from the date i receive the phone, and forgets the old contact? Perfect, just wanted to clarify :) (I work in the business, and (after discount) am quite happy to pay £150 odd for a phone every 4 months)

Hello Dave,

The upgrade fee also depends on what upgrade band you are so the fee at month 4 can be between £150 + vat - £250 + vat
