Hi,
I have used the search function on the forum to see if anyone else has already posted my query, and they havent, so I`ll post it here.

I`m on a monthly contract with Three, and have a monthly calls and texts package, but most of my texts I send are to a friend in Canada.
Does anyone know if there are any add-on/upgrade packages I can buy that will allocate me a set number of International Texts each month rather than paying a flat rate 20p per Text?
Also, is it possible to send and receive International MMS ? I have tried with my friend, both to send and receive, and neither seems possible.

Thanks in advance.

At the moment I send more texts to everywhere but the UK and I'm afraid that there isn't any kind of add-on to cut the cost down from 25p (20p ex vat shows on your bill). Also with MMS it's hit and miss, mostly miss, so don't hold too much hope for it working :(

Ach!!! :(
I suspected that was the case...hmph!

I gave up on the MMS`. so I wont be trying that again.... but the fact you cant buy a "International Text bundle" is just a &%*$ing nuisance :(

Anyways, thanks Kevin for at least confirming what I suspected.
Maybe one day eh? :)

try the Send-SMS-Now.com (http://www.send-sms-now.com) I've been using it and had a good experience with the free texting to the usa (http://www.send-sms-now.com/index.php?country=USA&cID=39) mobile providers

Last time I sent an SMS to a friend in the States on (3 UK>Verizon Wireless) the message took a week and a half to arrive. So I just MSN him nowadays. Cheaper and actually arrives on time.
