I have a SPV M700 (HTC Trinity).
I have setup the internet (works apart from 3 block sites and ports!!!!!!)
I have skype etc working
but when i try to go to planet 3 and use the TV i get the lovely message..
"This service is not available on this device. Please use your 3 handset to access this Service."
Please help! or does anyone know if i would have the same problems with t-mobile etc?

Its down to software licences that 3 install on their handsets.... If you don't have them on your handset then you will find they wont work.
As 3 do not supply this handset then you may not be able to use the mobile tv at all.
This may also go for the other networks unless.
Ok so what happens with a sim only deal where they have not supplied a handset, but you have bought the internet addon?
I was buying a sim only, but then saw I could get same deal, with a free k610i, not a wonder phone but quite handy, well featured, but most of all, I needed a new charger for my w900i........ (yes I got the phone just for the charger!)
So, put 3 sim in w900i, try to set it up, realise Idont have the settings, email three, not a very good response but I get a phone call from a three guy, spoke very good english in his indian call centre accent, so I knew the quality of service was going downhill right away....
his answer, my handset is not compatible with the three network, and will never work correctly, it cant be done, they dont work.....
Well some web searching got it working, but I noticed that the welcome page looked different, so slipping the sim back into the k610 I noticed all the links off to other sites like yahoo and ebay and tv were gone.....
Yup, somehow, three can see what handset I'm on and restrict my content, I dont get my service any cheaper, I just get less of a service........
Imagine if I had taken the sim only deal, I would not have known............
I must say, I was /very/ happy with three upto this point, now I *hate* them, and will be looking at ways to get rid of them soon.
(sorry as in escape from contract, not blow up the company, that was only a dream after a night of heavy vodka abuse)
