I have tried using Symtorrent, however it doesnt ever seem to work. If I remember these clients were released last year with almost no updates since. I am wondering why, as it would be a really great app to have on the move. Anyone know of one?

It works pretty well for me, are you sure you're using the latest version?

I find it incredibly slow.

How can you download torrents on the go? The nokia web browser gives me an error. Something like 'unknown format'

SirGbolalot - I just downloaded the latest version - over WLAN, it works a real treat and pretty quickly! V happy with this. over 3g (web and walk - using a proxy) it will work also however too slow to use - around 0.20kbs!) Perhaps with a decent proxy it will be useable over 3g?
Just found Symella (http://www.aut.bme.hu/Portal/SymellaAbout.aspx?id=a6852bba-5efd-4cbb-911d-4b4ec893f794) its like Gnutella for the PC and again works on the N95 on the WLAN - its not torrent but it is p2p.

you guys really should not use a n95-1 for torrents, unless you have X-Series silver or more, as uploads count to your monthly quota. if your lucky enough to live in a country that offers unlimited, half your luck.
download torrents on pc, seriously, like what a waste of bandwidth.... 3.5g works alright here in australia thou i recommend not wastijng time with it. for those that think...."what a freak"... just too let you know, here is australia you gotta get ADSL /2 on unlimited. max download on 1500kb/s = 348GB / mth n95-1 = 8gb, so you gotta look at the big picture, torrents 4 phones?? what a joke.
I think most people (if not everyone) will know that, and also you've got WiFi on your phone.

I've found SymTorrent v1.3 very useful on my N73, I've downloaded a few albums and its been relatively quick.
Oh, and don't worry, I'm on X-Series Silver.

I dont think anyone would consider using their phone as a main source of a bitorrent client! It would be handy for smaller files on the go and also just to see if it works! I use Wifi or my unlimited HSDPA connection on Tmobile web and Walk plus - ie semi unlimited, I dont need to be on '3';)
