I started a 12 month contract with 3 in May this year, but am looking into possibly cancelling.

And idea what the minimum term of my contract will be, if i have one at all???

I can't find any paperwork saying about it.

Thanks.

normally min term is 18 months these days but might be 12! Either way you will have to pay for remaining months to canx your contract and sometimes they offer a 5% discount as far as I can remember.

That's the length of the contract, but i wasn't sure if there was a minimum term of say 9 months for example.

Anyway, thanks for the sarcastic and totally unhelpful response.

Your minimum term will be the 12 months.

There's no early option to cancel. Only early option you get with a contract IIRC is the option to upgrade early, i.e. month 11 with 12 month contracts and month 15 with 18 month contracts

Wrong. You can cancel early, but you have to pay off your remaining line rental. So in all honesty, you may as well let it run its course.

sorry maybe it was a bit too sarcastic

i just found it really funny that you had stated you signed up to a 12 month contract, and then asked whats the minimum term

if you could cancel and not pay anything before the 12 months, it would kind of defeat the point of signing up fo a 12 month contract lol, no?

Sorry - I meant for a no cost ending of contract, although my reply isn't that clear.

Have come out of contracts early before myself, but as you say, you have to pay up the remaining line rental anyway

If you still want to end your contract nearer the time, you can give your notice of termination 30 days before the end of the contract.

If you wait until the end of your min term it Will cost you a extra month in line rental and usage before they will terminate the contract, making your contract length 13 months.
