HSDPA no longer avalable on W&W basic

Just being talking to my friend with the 6120c. He lost his HSDPA and spoke to T-Mobiles C/S this morning. He was told " FROM THE 19 OCTOBER HSDPA WOULD BE REMOVED FROM ALL BASIC W&W PRICE PLANS TO GET HSDPA YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO UP TO W&W PLUS OR MAX"

I STILL have HSDPA on web and walk basic and i use it daily, speed on average is 950kb

He was told that over the next moth or so it would be removed from all basic W&W price plans.

Just found this in T-Mobiles T&Cs. No mention of HSDPA in the basic package.
