hi all , have had N95 for 7months with no maj probs untill this week . 1st cant delete Themes and now unable to open txt's ??? Me think it needs to go back to T-mobile..

u could try a format *#7370# but it will delete all fone data, e.g. contacts, notes etc

Yah, format's always do the trick. Just back up your contacts and calendar with the PC Suite and you'll be fine.

thanks 2 both, if thats the way 2 go then maybe id give it a try . Will post 2moro if all goes ok ..

If you send it to T-Mobile they'll probably format it anyway.

well i did say i would post back, im affraid it didnt work, i backed up first then formatted (*#7370#) then entered lock code, ect,ect,...Had a txt sent to phone and still cant open it. Even formatted a second time then restored from back-up from P C and still no joy , is it time to throw it back to T-Mobile !!!!!!!!!!! :-(

Yeh, I'd send it back to T-mobile. Tell them to update your firmware and give you a vanilla phone too.

to be honnest what ever is causing the problem is prob getting put back on the phone with the backup, try again and do not use the backup and try it, if it works then theres an error in the backup file

As above, see what happens before you restore the back up, and make sure you have up to date firmware too.

well the saying is " if at first you don't succeed try and try again " thanks guys i went and updated the firmware v12.0.013 and woa-hay , back in working order .cheers guys & thanks again ;-)
