Matt - hows your N95 8GB doing?
any problems? stability? bugs etc?
my mate at Nokia is sending me one, but not right away until he has tested a few first!
thats probably something to do with the fact im the fussiest person in the world when it comes to freezing, restarting and general whinging! :D
so he wants to be sure BEFORE i recieve one
anyone got theirs yet? how are you all finding it?

It's doing well mate. Not sure this handset is a viable thread of discussion now, as everything relating to it seems to be closed.
:alien: Its like we're talking about some TOP SECRET alien conspiracy that the government dont want us to talk about..... Why on earth is everything relating to the N95 8GB being removed or closed? Is it that its such a good phone and making people sooooo jealous that they dont want us to talk about it......? :confused:

It's for your own good. Apparently reading about the 8GB N95 makes original N95 owners sooooo jealous that they get uncontrollable urge to jump off cliffs. Several forum members have already disappeared under suspicious circumstances......
More seriously, I don't know really :)
me and my n95 keep fallin out,over the past few weeks things have changed.i dont feel the same way as i once did.....i think i will just come out with it and say......i think its over i'm gonna book n95 a holiday to ebaya,maybe she will meet someone new....i will keep you posted......

I'd love to have a play with the N95 8gb to see what its like. But I hear voda have butchered it, am I right ????

Well we have both a Vodafone and Sim Free N95 8GB
The differences are as follows
1 - Vodafone have there own theme which is awful, but you can just change it in 'Themes' to the standard N95 8GB one, so no problem there.
2 - There is an extra icon called 'Live' which opens the browser to Vodafone Live (The normal 'Web' Icon is still there too)
3 - As in the normal N95, Vodafone have disabled the VOIP function
Other than that it identical to the sim free one

Many thanks for that I'll look into their tariffs, hopefully they are better than they were when I was last with them about 4 or 5 years ago
