Browser on N95 8GB

On my previous 'standard' N95 if i visited a website, say bbc.co.uk, it would take me to the standard bbc.co.uk homepage as you'd see on a PC. On my new N95 8GB it takes me to the bbc.co.uk/mobile portal even though i havent typed 'mobile' at the end of the address.

The website seems to know i'm visiting from a mobile rather than a PC and displays the mobile version of the page. However it didnt do this on my old N95... any ideas anyone?

I have an original N95 and it does this. Try clearing the cache / cookies.

go to the bbc.co.uk page and click on the preferences button, you can select how you view the page from there (ie pda, mobile or full internet options)
