Bit of a weird one.

Was in maidstone town centre in kent this afternoon and i'm getting 3.5g access with o2 on my N95.

Have o2 finally enabled high speed 3g services at last?

I can't say it was very quick and it keeps fluctuating between 3 and 3.5g, so its obviously not that strong a signal either.

A step in the right direction tho for o2 users though right?

A few weeks ago, I made enquiries in an o2 shop (I'm not an o2 customer). The bloke in there said HSDPA was not yet active but should be in the near future. So maybe that means now.

i'll admit that o2's 3g coverage is flaky at best. Even now i'm only getting a gprs connection, not even edge let alone 3g.

O2 still need to get there 80% 3g coverage by the end of this year don't they due to the conditions of their 3g license?
