Disconnect calls/apps

Are you able to disconnect a call or stop what app you are in by sliding down the front?

After speaking to someone unless I press the red button the call stays on the line, but sliding down the front just locks the keypad.

NO, you can't slide to end the call.

No, the call can only be ended by pressing the red button. The N95 was designed that way, unlike the N80 that preceded it.
