txting girl friend in South Africa

Hi there ive been txtn my g/f for past month of my samsung D-500 she is over in S/A. She has her vodafone phone with her from the uk which i believe turns into vodacom over there. Any way i get txt bundle packs and have been txting away no problems but yesterday my phone has stoped letting me txt her it always says sending failed but voda are counting it as a txt sent. Or it says Error and simply wont send txt. I dont understand why all of a sudden this is happening. im on pay as you go by the way. I can txt my friends here in uk and can text my g/f of my dads phone which is on orange. Any help to what is going on would be grate. Thank you .Greg

Silly question but you do have credit dont you?

lol yeah i have credit and txts.... ive been txting her using the txts packs you can get with no problems i did however run out of money the other day but still had80 odd txts left. So i topped my credit up 2day just incase it was that but still no change, its just refuseing to send.:mad:

just tried phoneing customer services, 1st lady her system was down so she put me through to next girl, i told her my problem when all of a sudden lots of interference occurred on the phone line and she couldnt hear me... this happend the next 3x when i phoned up with 3 different call handlers:devious: . Funny it always happend as soon as i mentioned txting abroad :dead:

Sorry you seem to be having these problems texting your girlfriend. Perhaps there's something we can do for you or look into even. It could be a Vodafone problem or maye a problem with the network in South Africa.

im guessing the girlfriend roamed onto a different network that doesnt have the same level of roaming partnership with voda.

hi guys sorry about delay. problem sorted now. it just would not text for a day or two then all of a sudden it worked again.even got my friend down south to text of his voda and his wouldnt send either yet orange 02 etc sent without a problem. So must have been vodas problem somewhere down the line
