A friend of mine recently brought a unlocked K850I on T-Mobile from the CPW. The problem is that the W&W pages do not form properly on the screen. Everything is stuck on the left hand side of the screen squashed together and there is just a white screen on the right hand side. He has spoken to both T-Mobile data support and CPW data support who have told him that because it is a unlocked handset it may not work with T-Mobiles software. Where can he go from here ? It is CPW/T-Mobile policy not to allow a handset/network swap if brought from a CPW store. They will only change it if its faulty. He needs a locked version of the K850I but CPW do not stock these and its no point changing to another unlocked one as the problem will be the same.
