RSS Feeds

Apologies for reposting this, but I got no response in the Sony k800i section and hoped this might get me more luck!

Hi,

I have just got a K800i on 3 and am playing around with RSS Feeds. I wondered if they are chargeable.

I just have a 500 min / 100 text monthly tariff with no data included and the feeds seem to update fine. Do they go out through a free 3 wap service or will I be charged at the end of the month for some data traffic that my current usage doesn't show me?

Yes, you will be charged for these.

It is £2 per MB, so is not really worthy of getting a data plan especially for it. RSS feeds are around 2kb per message or so...
