I think the only way you are getting out of the contract without paying a early termination fee (which will normally be equivalent to the line rental that is left on your account) is if there has been a 'detrimental' change to oranges t+c's or your price plan which you had no decision on or were not informed about (ie line rental discounts for x amount of months) since the start of the contract.
So the only thing you may be able to do is change to a lower value price plan (if you can) and cancel any extras on your account.

Try the Orange website, why have orange increased the price of anything since you signed up? If this is the case and this is what has pushed your bill up then this could be a 'detrimental' change.

You will only be able to use any price changes since you last upgraded, and these price changes have got to have been detrimental to you.
What is making your bills so high?
What sort of numbers are you calling?
What is the Service Plan?
How many texts are you sending and are they inclusive?
Do you use data and if so how much?
Give some honest answers to the above and I will try to work out the best way forward for you

Do you use any shortcodes?
How much are you paying a month and do you know what the Service Plan is called?
Further to what 9mil has asked can you break down your bill ie what talk plan you are on and its monthly charge. Are orange then charging you above your min agreed service plan charge and if so what are they billing you for?
For a starting point if you are paying for itemised billing, you can save £1-50 a month by switching this off, as you can view your billing info on line by logging onto your account.
Members are asking these questions in order to try and find a option that may be suitable for you, as buying your self out of your contract at this stage will probably be to high a price.
As Pav says everybody on here will try and help you. From what you describe you must be on the old direct tariff where all cross net calls are charged. If you could give some detail as to charges, we may be able to identify a better tariff for you which I think will be cheaper than buying your contract out

I have an Orange contract for two phones, and one was cancelled when Orange informed me I was not able to call abroad using the number that was given by the dealer to use with Orange phones. But only one phone was cancelled and I used both to call abroad...so far keep getting bills for the other phone which I am not using as I got it to call abroad. Is there a way to get this stopped once and for all. Do I have to pay £10 for every month left on the 18 month contract?
Anna I have just posted a fairly detailed response in your previous thread. Please update this with the requested information so I can offer some definitive advice

I do not seem to be able to find the reply to my query. Can you copy the reply to this message, as I can pick this one up. Thanks
Anna
You posted your other post in the complaints section under the thread of Two phones, one contract but one phone cancelled. My response can be found there.

please help on 3 tried to get 'rid of them' but they just annoyingly ringroad me when i phone them to cancel. i get confused with them over the phone and then i get stuck for another 18 months how stupid is that. must be a way out. i have tried 3 times.
and the bills are too much as if you i text someone once, they charge me for about 5 texts of the same time. this is unfair and totally unjust.
please help. i phoned on 11 december to CANCEL, they did not listen but went into oh we can do this that and the other... then i ended up with not paying 21pds amount but 24 pds plus vat amount but that bill came to 75.00. wow... cant seem to get rid of these blighters please help me.
they just ringroad me nowadays. seems if you stand up to them they just keep on winning..... complaining does no good. they still ringroad what ever i say.
