X-Series application on N80

Ok, my N73 has gone to the big graveyard in the sky :mad: So now im using my flatmates old N80, its de-dranded and works ok, can someone please tell me how i go about getting the X-Series applications to install, i have spent hours looking on the net, i especially want Skype, Slingbox and MSN.. I want the Three versions so they are included in my allowence!!

Have found a x-series.rar download that apparently has all the software but cant get into the file once its on my laptop!!

The rar file probably doesnt contain the sling software, all the ones iv downloaded in the past didnt. strange you cant open it, the never had any problems with mine using winrar, are you using different software eg ultimate zip, that can usually view the contents of a rar archive but has problems extractng the file.

I find that as well that even though winrar will open zip files and winzip will open rar files it does appear that there are some compatibility issues when using different programs to open archives. For best results I find it best to use winrar to open rar files and winzip to open zip files (I know this means having to have both installed on your computer when one is meant to do both, but this is not always the case). Also winace does not always open archives correctly as it sometimes lists no files in the archive when there are and microsoft compressed folders and other less know zip utilities report that zip files are corrupted when they are not.

I have managed to get them open now, but they are not the Three versions, for example the Slingplayer you have to register.
