They are so noying they just call you whenever they want grrrrr i was in my End of yr exams as they gave me a call the goood thing was that my fone was on silent and only the peopl stting next to me noticed that my fone was vibarting.

Is'nt your phone meant to be switched off during exams anyway

i leav it on just incase my mum txts me or sumthing if i turn my fone off and sumone txts me and then i turn it on it take 20-60 mins for me to get but if i leav it on it takes like 30-60 secs

Well if you get caught in a proper exam with a mobile phone you are probably looking at getting a U (unclassified) as it is known that mobiles are used for cheating in exams, thats why there has been interest in using mobile phone blocking/jamming technology in exam halls

Well ungradable and unclassified both mean that you have failed dont they, a pass is A - G

Whatever U means it doesnt really matter, the fact of the matter is you cant expect 3 to not call you and expect them to just know your in an exam. You should have your phone off regardless of who may text you. What would you rather do, wait a few minutes for your missed texts to come through after your exam, or spend a whole year retaking all your subjects because your phone went off in one of your exams? Your choice.

My thoughts exactly re the subject matter of the "U"!! My kids are 11 and 13 and if they thought like that, I'd disown them! And yes, I strongly suspect I am getting old... :rolleyes:

Well like the other said, how are 3 to know you're in an exam? Exactly, they won't. Secondly, don't they teach English in schools anymore? Terrible spelling and text speak combined just reeks of ignorance if you ask me. God I sound like a right old fart, and I'm only 25!
