Having just joined Vodafone, I've been setting up my PIN codes for SIM security and am after the default PIN2 code (the secondary PIN for the SIM). I've tried explaining this to CS but they are getting confused thinking I mean the phones lock code. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried 1234 and 0000 but can't afford a third failed attempt as I'll then need the PUK2 code!

PIN2 codes are normally used for accessing the advanced functions on your phone. The default PIN2 code for Vodafone handsets is "1111", unless you've changed this.
If you do enter your PIN incorrectly and lock the handset you would need to request your PUK from your network provider.

Cheers for that, think I tried 1111 but it possibly didn't work. I've tried 2/3 attempts now so a third will lock the SIM. Are you sure Vodafone support PIN2 on their SIM's as I read somewhere they possibly don't.

The Default PIN2 code for Vodafone is 1111, and I'd advise you try this code.
If this does lock you can request the PUK. If you still have problems what you can do is use the Vodafone Contact Page (http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp;wrpsessionid=nLtVHnmXSRWhmRbrQNKgTPH1fhMZzzv3q b2C8cT2J4GtGtqtNvF9!-1357803545?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=Page_BOS_ContactUsContent&pageID=PCU_0001)to send an email and request a replacement SIM card.
Please remember to answer the security questions and include "FIT135" somewhere in the email. As you've followed my advice our team will make sure you have a new SIM card sent out to you free of charge.
