Hi everyone-
Another new user because I cannot set up my phone for email. Reviewed various web threads, but cannot resolve it. Can anyone post a dummy's step by step guide through the process?
Phone is on Tesco pre-pay.
Thanks in anticipation of someone with a more logical brain than mine!

have you had the gprs service activated? you might need to phone tesco mobile customer services and get them to activate mobile internet/wap

Make sure you have the correct settings which you can request to be sent to you from the following page http://phonesettings.tesco-mobile.com/TescoMobileSettings/
You say you are trying to set up e-mail, I take it you want to access an existing account?
In addition to the settings above and andrewkeith's advice you will need the POP3 server address of your existing mail provider (to send mail you will also need the SMTP address but many ISPs do not access to their SMTP hosts from outside their networks or without a username and password as so called open mail relays are a big no no on the internet and can lead to network isolation.
O2 (Tesco's network partner) may operate an SMTP host but I think its unlikely.
Be aware that Tesco is a basic PAYG service and may not support e-mail.
