Well this is a cool little thing if ever I've seen one.
Found this site (https://www.mobilepanel.co.uk/welcome.aspx). It'a a company who deal with market research. They've created a little app that sits on your phone and monitors your usage. On a daily basis it uploads the info for them to analyse.
The cool part is they pay you to use it. For signing up they give you £15 (payable within 45 days) and for every month after that they give you £5 (payable bi-annually).
For those concerned about privacy, their policy states they do not record exact details of what you are doing, so they don't actually have copies of your texts etc. It's mroe that they monitor the amount of texts you sent, or data you use, or time on your browser.
The amount of data it uses is tiny, so it shouldn't kill anyones bill!
