Hi - I am probably missing the obvious on how I do this but I want to be able to set my phone so that my bluetooth headset automatically pairs with it when I turn the headset on - previously only had motorola phones which this was easy to set up. Having difficulty trying to do this with N95 - can anyone help? I expected to find a handsfree profile but so far seem to be missing it!!:(

Bluetooth > (Right Nav key) > Paired devices > (Select you headset if already paired) > Options > Set as authorised.
If not paired:-
Bluetooth > Right Nav key > Options > New paired device (when your headset is found the code will probably be 0000. Accept connect aurtomatically.

Hi Ian
Done this already but when I turn headset off and then on again I still have to go back into phone and activate pairing again - previously when I turned headset on with old phone it automatically paired without me going near phone again at all - never thought I would have an issue as N95 more advanced than my old motorolla razr 3x - assumed I would have the same ease of use - I am still assuming it is a set up issue that I am not getting quite right - any ideas appreciated !!

i use a nokia bh-500 bt set with my n95 and once paired for first time all i do is turn bluetooth on on the n95 the switch the headset on and it auto conects with 2 seconds, not sure what ur doing wrong here, delete the pairing and pair with it again, set as authorised then once paird shut down the bt headset (dnt disconect first just shut it down so it auto disconects) and then turn bt off on n95, turn bt on n95 bak on and then on headset, see if It works now?

Try Biggzy's suggestion.
Are you sure that you are setting it as authorised, i.e. there should be a padlock icon to the right of it in Paired devices on the N95.
I use a Nokia BH-801 and it pairs everytime.
Some BT headsets seem to have a problem with this feature! I have two by third party manufacturers and they work sometimes. It seems to be BT compatability.
