registering nokia maps

hi can any body help. i want to use nokia maps for a month to see what its like before i buy a 3 year licience. when i enter my credit card details and it trys to connect to the net to confirm the details it says there is no internet connection. i am using pay as you go on o2 can any body tell me the settings i need to activate it.

If I remember right there is a problem with O2 PAYG accessing the full internet isn't there? Some kind of block?

You could just pay by text instead? Or connect using a WiFi connection instead of the data connection.
