N95 8GB Sat Nav Serial From N95?

Basicly im looking to get a Nokia n95 8gb from usa or germany in the next week or so, but i have a 3 year satnav license, so i dont want to loose this if i get the new phone, from pictures that i have seen the 8gb version has the same satnav software, so it shouldnt be a problem just putting my license key in the new phone?

Has anyone else had to do this when swapping faulty n95s etc?

Hiya, i think mine was around £50, i think its 47 to be precise, the year satnav is £45 so i thought whats the point, i use it everyday for work (broadband engineer) so it was worth getting it.

There is some restriction on the movement of TomTom licences, but, no others that I know of!

Hmmm ok, the only thing is when i registered it i had to send an authentification text message, so im not sure wether my IMEI was transfered in with that message, so the serial would be useless on another phone?
