US : The CDMA Development Group (CDG) announced the availability of a white paper entitled ‘Maximizing Network Value: Capitalizing on the next wave of mobile broadband data applications.’ The paper examines how CDMA2000® mobile broadband technologies have lead the evolution of mobile data services and how operators capitalized on their competitive advantage to drive revenue and strengthen their market position. It also analyzes future services that next-generation CDMA2000 technologies will enable.
“Since data services have become an important revenue driver for operators and a key consideration for their future business strategies, it is important to understand the market opportunities and network requirements for delivering mobile applications,” said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. “CDMA2000’s superior performance and aggressive evolution path have allowed operators to expand their service portfolios and drive revenues faster then their competitors. The white paper takes a close look at how this has been accomplished and what we can expect in the future.”
