Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has been able to get good deals on the N95 from the retentions department? I'm still thinking sim only but maybe consider the N95 if the price is right.
Thanks
Dan

Why not phone CS and see what they can offer? You're not obliged to make your mind up there and then when you call.

I'm not in my last month yet quite yet. Just getting a feel to what I can get out of them. The only thing that will make me stay with them is the price because I had a bad experience with customer support.
Thanks

Retentions have been chasing me to upgrade/resubscribe, but I have to say I'm not impressed. The offers are no better than a new customer can get via the website, despite them opening with the old 'we want to reward you for remaining a customer' line.
While I could benefit from switching to a new 'mix' plan I'd be tying in for another 18 months (to get any kind of deal on a decent phone) and, to be honest, there's not really a phone I want. The last guy tried to talk me down on an N95 because of battery life and suggested the E65. Fine, but it's got a frankly poor camera compared to the 95 or my current N73.
Last year I got the N73 for free plus about 80 quid of credit on my account. I know the landscape has changed somewhat in a year, but it doesn't feel like Three are trying very hard to keep me. I have two contracts paying them about 80 quid a month and I use quite a few minutes abroad - so I'm not a particularly low-use customer.
So, don't hold your breath on a great deal...

3 are now saying you can upgrade if you are within 90 days of your contract end date (although this may only be if you're currently on an 18-month contract). If you're within 90 days, then give them a call.
Or some of the retentions staff will give examples of what they're currently offering as upgrade deals even if you're not in the free upgrade period, although they will emphasise that the deals may not be available when you are eligible.
