Why have I received a bill for £ 0 from 3 for a contract that was terminated 6 months ago

This morning I have received a bill for £ 0.00 for a account that was terminated more than 6 months ago when I took out a new contract and I was sent the final bill for that account in april.

Has anybody had anything similar happen or know why they have sent me this bill now as it seems a waste of paper and postage really especially when it just says nothing to pay

It may be just something like a clean-up exercise, and they needed to send a final bill to close your account fully, even if no payment was required.
