Marks & Spencer sandwiches and a trip to the visionary O2 music venue were among the killer ingredients in the pitch that won O2 the prized deal to sell the iPhone, Mobile has learned.
Mark Stansfeld (pictured), O2's sales director, revealed this week that the deal to prise away the million-selling music device from rival networks was done and dusted in the space of a few days in June. Stansfeld was one of three key negotiators for O2, along with CEO Matthew Key and devices boss Ian Clarke.
