Hi,

Simple question really. My price plan includes £5 of downloads, however I cannot find a webpage detailing exactly what is included in this. For example, are the £4.99 games included? The terms say that they are not included in "add-ons", but this is not strictly an "add-on".

Thanks!

The truth is this allowance can be used to purchase any content from 3s portal (ringtones, graphics, any videos, games, dialtunes, tv channels) and for subscriptions (eg mobizines, premier scores, dialtunes subscription, FHM and heat) it can not be used to purchase addons or to pay for calls, texts or data.

Just to back up what themaddoctor said, I always use my £5 allowance to purchase games. You're not restricted to just music and videos.

Yes. I too have purchased ring tones, games, music and videos from this allowance.
The annoying thing is the music on the phone has to be downloaded again if you change phones. Since you can only do this 3 times, you will eventually have to pay for the music again.
Also what can you do when a game fails to download to your phone but it debits the £4.99 ?

Call 333 and tell them it failed. They will credit your account for the next billing cycle. They know when you tried to download the game and they will ask you what game it was. This happend to me once, and there was no problem in crediting my account.

Redownload the game, 3 wont charge you again for downloading the same game again as long as it is within 24 hours of originally clicking the link to buy that game.
If it is longer than 24 hours since selecting the buy link you will get charged again but as long as its within 24 hours you can redownload by clicking the buy link for that same game again without getting charged

...Are you sure it does include subscription services? Cause I do remember I had premier scores subscription before and only the initial payment was taken off my £5 Free download and from the following month I was charged on my bill as extra usage even though I had £5 download credit.

.cheers.

Yes it does I currently have the dial tunes subscription as I use a dialtune and that comes out of the £5 allowance and I have previously used premier scores, mobizines & FHM and the subscription has come out of the content allowance,
You can spend it on anything on 3's portal except add ons. If you spend more than the allowance you get charged the difference.

I can confirm the £5 free download credit can be used on any paid for item from the Planet 3 Menu.

I was confused about this too, the last customer service person I spoke to reeled off the terms and conditions for the old video value packs which are very restrictive.

Spoke to someone again tonight and he told me the £5 can be used on anything from the Planet 3 menu so it will include ringtones, tv, music downloads, magazines and games etc.

3 Customer service are very good when it comes to clearing up these issues

Yes as I previously said the only things you cant spend this on are add ons, calls, messaging and texts. You will also find that third party content that is billed by reverse charged sms is excluded
