Google Maps Mobile has FINALLY been updated to a native S60 application, and even supports the N95's internal GPS! You can see the white GPS dot on the screenshot. Other than that, it looks pretty similar to the old version, only faster since it's native.

does this mean i can use google maps to find my way around citys instead of having to pay for nokia city guides or am i barking up the wrong tree. if so what exactly can i use it for:confused:

Well it works pretty well. You can use the search for anything such as taxi, restaurant etc. And it will show you where they are locally relative to your position. You also get the contact info. It does pretty much what its desktop cousin can do.

It's actually even better than it's desktop cousin because not only can you search for local services / places but you can also add places directly to your N95's contact list!

Being a native S60 app it runs way way faster than the original Mobile GMaps app (which I think was Java?)
