I want to change my faceplate real bad but i stripped the screws and now they seem impossible to get out. Does anyone have any ideas as to fixing this problem?

I nearly have the same issue as the screw heads seem to be made from drop-forged peanut butter and I've taken out some of the flats even using the correct T5 bit.
I'd try and use a slightly larger flat blade driver bit to get at least one edge back.
There are some driver kits out there that claim to be able to remove any screw but I don't know if they work for something this small and delicate.

You're to young to know the answer to that son.

Lol there is a good chance I'm older than you "son". I'm an electrical engineering and business management student and frankly speaking this is the first time I've heard the term, I presumed it meant the screw head was damaged so it couldn't be used properly anymore, but I just wanted to confirm prior to ranting on about a solution that may not be relevant to joes situation.
Anyway it seems timbo is far more capable of helping then me. ;)

Haha good job I actually clicked on this before I deleted it. I was close to just dismissing it as spam and deleting it before I read through the thread tittle properly! Youll be suprised at some of the threads we get on here!

T5 worked on my N95 faceplate screws.

If there's room, just dremel a line across the head of the screw and use a flathead screwdriver to remove it.
In case there's no room for dremel'ing, try to put the head of a tiny flathead screwdriver on the outer edge of the screw so that when hitting the screwdriver with some weight, the screw is forced against the clock.
If you have stripped more than one screw, then mayby you shouldn't be doing this. Chances are that you'll just mess things up even more...

As a last resort and if you can get replacement screws:
stick a dab of superglue, or some other strong adhesive that is easier to remove later, into the head of the screw.
Stick the torx-bit or driver into the stripped out head of the screw and let it dry.
Turn to undo, hopefully the nugget of glue wont spin with the driver in the head of the screw and will come out.
Remove the screw from the torx bit/driver either using pliers or applying pressure on the screw using the driver, at an angle (as longas you havent got some cheapy torx bit or thin needle type screwdriver) then chisel or scrape off loose adhesive from the bit or driver before going at it again on another screw.
Remember, only as a last resort, as you risk getting glue everywhere and busting your screwdriver :)
