voicemail ringing doing my nut

having lived with the n95 for a few months it has really grown on me, i can live with the crap battery life and slow browsing but when my phone rings it will ring 3 times or so then go to voice mail which is fine, however when voicemail rings me back it will ring for ages and ages, then ring for ages and ages again in 5 minutes and again and send a text , if im a kip or away it runs the battery way down. can i set it to only send me am sms to tell me a voicemail is waiting or at least to just ring the once?

Hi! It's not an N95 problem, but Vodafone! When you set up voicemail, it defaults to 'alert and deliver' which means you get a text and phonecalls every 5 minutes.

Just call voicemail and choose option 4 and it gives you the option to set up your mailbox. Choose 'text only' and bob's your auntie's husband!!

yes just call 121 for voicemail, then choose option 7 then option 3, then choose option 2 (this will give you text message notification only)
