Hey there. My N95 was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago. Then it started acting weird with the screen pic going upside down then flashing then blurry but after a few secs it would be fine.

Now its just totally fuzzy and i cant even see the screen. Most of the time half of the screen stays jammed as a lovely picture of a multitude of colours while the other half of the screen flashes colours.

The only way i get to see my screen for a split sec is to press all the buttons quickly but the screen always resorts to the colours and half jammed screen!

The phone has not been drpped or damaged. Any help please or advice as i am now totally fed up with this phone and its about to head for the closest wall

Thanks - Ian

sounds like the best thing for you to do is either contact your network for a repair or take it to a Nokia Service Centre.

Yeah, it looks like something in the display hardware is dying. There's nothing you can do yourself, but it should be under warranty, since you say you've not damaged it.

I only got the mobile from Orange as a new contract in June so would i take it back to the shop where i got it from as the people who work for Orange Insurance (i took out cover) dont really want me to send it to them. Batted from pillar to post

Best thing to do is take it to a service centre, or car phone warehouse for repair under guarantee!

Hi Ian. Did you manage to sort out your N95? (What did the service center say?). I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my phone. My phone was disconected from my pc before it was save to remove devices, do you think this might have caused this jam? I can access my phone fine via my pc and everything seems to be working 100%. Everything except the screen..

Well i had my N95 replaced 3 times within the year due to the software crashing. Orange have admitted to me that the first series of N95s were pretty much all the same! They did advise me to download updates for my phone at the Nokia site online but this did not help. Luckily my phone was insured so replacing it was not a problem. Take it back to the shop if the phone is still pretty new (within 3 months) or call up the customer services from your supplier for advice as the N95s all have the same problems.

Hope this helps - Ian
